In collaboration with Tokyo’s Grand Hyatt Hotel, Japanese artist Takashi Murakami has prepared an afternoon tea menu featuring famous motifs from his oeuvre.
After being featured at a recent Sotheby’s London auction, the artist collaborated with “STARS: Six Contemporary Art Stars-From Japan to the World” exhibition, showing at Mori Art Museum until January 3, 2021, to present his latest collaborative work at the all-day dining French Kitchen, alongside a colorful afternoon tea that abounds with Murakami’s eponymous 12-petal smiling face flowers in numerous colorful shades. Fiorentina Pastry Boutique is responsible for confecting and offering the adorable “flower” sugar cookies to the table, all carefully crafted by their award-winning pastry chefs.
